One of the key aspects of operating a volunteer organization of any size is to facilitate the proper communication between those involved with the organization's programs and activities. This communication can take many forms (phone calls, meetings, etc.), but one of the key forms of communication is simple printed documents.

SnVYSA tries to make printed documents available to its membership by publishing key documents on our website. "Publishing on our website" means nothing more than placing them onto the website so that interested participants can "download" or obtain a copy of the document(s), when they choose to do so.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

To meet the Association's goals, we publish many documents in a standard format known as Acrobat Reader (or .PDF) format. There are many reasons for adopting this standard, but the primary one is that it permits the distribution of printed materials to the widest range of systems (PCs, Macs, etc.) and the widest range of operating systems possible. We DO make an effort on the website to identify the documents available in this format by identifying it with a small PDF ICON that looks like this:. When you see this ICON, you should be able to download the related document by simply clicking on the ICON.

Of course, this assumes that the system you are using has a copy of Acrobat Reader installed on it and properly operating.

What if your system doesn't have Acrobat Reader on it?

Once you have followed the procedures identified there, you should be able to download, view, print, and manage the SnVYSA PDF documents.
