As a volunteer, we need your assistance in creating a safe environment for all involved.

The compliance requirements outlined below are required by either State or Federal  law to be completed prior to volunteer participation.  Without completion SnVYSA cannot allow you to participate. 

All volunteers 18 years and older are required to complete the below certifications and RMA/background check on an annual basis.

• All trainings certifications will be completed in the US Soccer Learning Center
• You must complete the trainings certifications, before submitting your RMA/background check in Affinity.  (DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK IN THE US SOCCER LEARNING CENTER. YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK WITH WASHINGTON YOUTH SOCCER IN SPORTS CONNECT).
• All  background checks will be completed through US Soccer Connect (aka: Affinity). 
• Integration between US Soccer Connect(Affinity) and the US Soccer Learning Center (LC) requires an exact match of Legal First and Last Name, Date of Birth and Email address for the two(2) systems to sync and the training certificates to upload to your Affinity profile.
• New Coaches: You must create an account profile in the US Soccer Learning Center.  You will be required to verify your email address after you create a profile – If you do not verify you email address, you will be locked out.
• Returning Coaches: Login to your account in US Soccer Learning Center. You should already have an account from last season. If you do not remember your username or password, contact US Soccer Learning Center Support at learningcentersupport@ussoccer.org.
  • You can complete SafeSport refresher and Intro to safe and healthy playing environment course 60 days prior to the expiration date.
  • Do not let your SafeSport certificate expire or you will be required to take the full course over again.
