Annual Season Tryouts are April-May of each year for Girls U9-U18, and Boys U9-U15. (Boys U16-U19 in Feb)  There may be opportunities to try out for individual team open roster spots during the season. Please contact Cascade FC Director of Operations to inquire.

The tryout schedule will be posted on this page above when registration becomes available. Players will attend two (2) 1.5-hour sessions with their gender/birth year. Tryout schedules and registration will be posted above when available. Registration is by player birth year.  You must be pre-registered online prior to 1st Tryouts date.

Please come prepared to play soccer. You are competing. That means come with the mindset to listen to coaches and to work hard on the pitch. Team selection are based on the performances at the tryout sessions. Dress appropriately for the weather,  you will be playing in rain or shine.

There are no grandfathered spots. This is your opportunity to show the evaluators your skills and your desire to be on a team.

The Cascade FC team coach from the age group will be running the sessions, while independent coaches watch and evaluate players. Players are ranked each day, and team(s) are then formed based on session performances and ranking. (See Bylaws, Article XII, for more specific info.)

We understand that there may be conflicts between the tryout schedule and other events. It is in the players best interest that they attend both tryout sessions. Please inform the Cascade FC Administrator if you will be missing either of the sessions, or if your child is sick and/or running a fever.

Roster sizes:

  • U13 and older teams will have a maximum of 18 players.
  • U11 and U12 (play 9v9) teams will have a maximum roster of 14 players
  • U9 and U10 (play 7v7) teams will have a maximum roster of 12 players.

Cascade FC reserves the right to add players to team rosters above the maximum if circumstance arise.

Coaches will contact players within 1-3 days after last scheduled tryout.

Required on day of Tryouts:

  • You must be pre-registered online. No on-site registration available.
  • Shin guards (mandatory), under socks
  • Soccer cleats appropriate for synthetic turf or grass.
  • Water (only water is permitted on the turf fields)
  • Weather appropriate clothing (dress in layers)
  • No jewelry is allowed.
